Events

The Buckhall VFD gives us our monthly meeting room for free.  They are having a delicious BBQ chicken dinner on Saturday  Sept 19.   Last time, Gene N4HFW  picked up 6 dinners for his family and they loved them.  You can eat at tables at the fire station or take home.  The dinner starts at 11 am and goes until they are sold out.

We have been in contact with Sky Meadows State Park to set up for a POTA event and hot dog cookout.    We will be at the Park on Sunday, September 20th starting at 10 am and wrapping up around 1 pm. This is open to all club members - who are interested in POTA, already participate with POTA or just want to have a hot dog lunch. The address for the park is 11012 Edmonds Ln., Delaplane, VA 20144,  there is a $10 per car charge for the park.  Once you go thru past the booth, watch for the picnic area sign on your right - it's a gravel driveway, Take that back to the picnic area.
