    • Hi Jebberson,

We saw your comment about wanting to take a ham radio exam which you posted on the w4ovh.net website.
Here is a link to a online search form: http://www.arrl.org/find-an-amateur-radio-license-exam-session

Unfortunately, most of them are cancelled because of the virus. There is much talk of virtual exams, but they are not readily available as a practical matter.

Before you take the exam, it helps to prepare for it. There is a online course that you can take, which I bought for my son-in-law and also for one of the OVH wives. Both passed on the first try.

You can try for free. If you decide you like it, it is $25.

If you have anymore questions, feel free to contact me direct at 703 789 6449.

      Thanks and good luck,
      John Heartney KG4NXT

  2. Any re-thinking on a June exam date? With the hamfest cancelled, there could still be some examinees willing to social distance. I am in Winchester, looking for a June Extra exam site.
