No swimming in a du, so we don't have to worry about the cold weather. Just dress for the weather and run-bike-run. Anyone ages 10 through adult is welcome to participate. The Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center 9100 Freedom Center Blvd, Manassas, VA, United StatesWe’re FALLing for the calling of October… with pumpkins and ghosts all around, we’re holding a SPIRIT RUN, a 5K with spirit along the campus roads and nature trails at the Freedom Center in Manassas. Share the course with our Du It duathletes, also competing that morning. Come run with us and feel free to get in the Halloween spirit wearing your best orange & black-- or maybe your favorite ghastly, ghostly get up (and go!). Live DJ for moving and grooving A 5k with SPIRIT! This run will be held alongside Du It on the campus and trails at the Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center in Manassas. ages 10 through adult

W4OVH Online Technician Class License Preparation Course
Online Technician Class License Prep CourseIts 2018 and the Ole Virginia Hams want to help you start the New Year off right by helping you join an exiting hobby and technology venue by helping you both learn and test for your own Amateur Radio Technician Class License. The W4OVH club will continue our offering of free Technician Class license preparation courses starting on January 29th at 7PM. There will be a total of 8 weekly sessions of 1 hour each. This year we are introducing new innovations to the course delivery. The course will be conducted by video teleconference so that you have the convenience of attending from your computer at home. W4OVH Monthly Meeting
Buckhall VFD Hall 7190 Yates Ford Road, Manassas, VA, United StatesThe OVH ARC regular monthly meeting is at 7:30 p.m. every third Tuesday at the Buckhall Volunteer Fire Department Station, 7190 Yates Ford Road, Manassas, Virginia. Members, prospective members and other interested persons are invited to attend without obligation. Local information can also be obtained through the OVH’s FM repeaters on 146.970-, 224.660-, 442.200+ and 443.500+ MHz. The OVH’s two D-Star repeaters on 146.865- and 442.5125+ MHz are also fully operational. Up to date information about OVH activities and its meetings is also available during the OVH’s nets on its FM Repeaters each Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. or on 80 meters (3710 KHz) LSB each Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. (8:00 pm in Summer) or through the OVH’s web site at http://w4ovh.net
