W4OVH Online Technician Class License Preparation Course
Online Technician Class License Prep CourseIts 2018 and the Ole Virginia Hams want to help you start the New Year off right by helping you join an exiting hobby and technology venue by helping you both learn and test for your own Amateur Radio Technician Class License. The W4OVH club will continue our offering of free Technician Class license preparation courses starting on January 29th at 7PM. There will be a total of 8 weekly sessions of 1 hour each. This year we are introducing new innovations to the course delivery. The course will be conducted by video teleconference so that you have the convenience of attending from your computer at home. W4OVH Monthly Meeting
Buckhall VFD Hall 7190 Yates Ford Road, Manassas, VA, United StatesThe OVH ARC regular monthly meeting is at 7:30 p.m. every third Tuesday at the Buckhall Volunteer Fire Department Station, 7190 Yates Ford Road, Manassas, Virginia. Members, prospective members and other interested persons are invited to attend without obligation. Local information can also be obtained through the OVH’s FM repeaters on 146.970-, 224.660-, 442.200+ and 443.500+ MHz. The OVH’s two D-Star repeaters on 146.865- and 442.5125+ MHz are also fully operational. Up to date information about OVH activities and its meetings is also available during the OVH’s nets on its FM Repeaters each Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. or on 80 meters (3710 KHz) LSB each Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. (8:00 pm in Summer) or through the OVH’s web site at http://w4ovh.net
Tri-It-Now: Tune Up Tri

The Tune Up Tri is an excellent race for beginners, and also a great opportunity for more experienced athletes to use as a gauge of your fitness early in the season. It's a tune-up...hone your skills and remember what it feels like to race 3 sports in one event!  TUNE UP FOR THE 2018 SEASON!!! The Tune Up Tri has a twist in it: since we're racing in March and don't want icicles in our hair..... we'll start the triathlon with the run, then do the bike, and finally end up with a "snake swim" at the pool (so you begin your swim whenever you arrive, not having to wait for an empty lane)

OVH Volunteer Examiner Session
