Manassas Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 3rd. We will be entered in the parade as a unit with a club trailer. The OVH will also support the parade with radio communications throughout the parade route. We do need a club member to pull the trailer thru the parade with their truck. If you are available, please let me know at kg4tvm@hotmail.com or 703-257-3566. We will also need help with decorating the trailer.

The OVH Holiday Party will be on Sunday, December 11th at Yorkshire Restaurant. This is a family event; please bring a covered dish to share. In addition, we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Toys For Tots campaign.

Congratulations to John, KG4NXT on getting his certificate for Worked All States CW. Took a while but he is very proud of this accomplishment.
Parks on the Air (POTA) – John, KG4NXT; Al ,KB4BHB and I went out to Mason Neck State Park on October 10th, with John activating for POTA. Beautiful park, the weather was amazing and he made many contacts (photos attached). Looks like Jeff, K9VEG has been activating out west at the beginning of the month. Both John and Jeff are accumulating a lot of awards!
